hi there , i have a couple questions, for my 94 ssei
what do you use to block the coolant ports on the sc ?
what is recommmended for a FPR ?
is it worth removing the throttle body screen ?
this car is crazy lauching out of the hole after installing the new tranny and 2500 stall !!!

I used 2 dimes and come JB weld to block off my ports. I suggest leaving the MAF screen in place.

so i guess no one has tried anything other than the oem fpr for a 1994 ssei ?

I'd guess no one really found a need. There'* a couple guys that got AFPR'*, but they are trying to tune with it instead of through the PCM. Needless to say, results weren't anything that added power.

thank you for the reply,
would drilling the thermostat help much for over heating , or could it be a head gasket issues causing the car to heat up after 20min of driving at normall speeds mostly low throttle ?? thanks for the help Brad

Over heating can be caused by a bad T-Stat, fans not coming, water pump failing or an air bubble in your cooling system. Drilling the T-stat will only solve a symptom and not the problem. You need to find out why the car is overheating. If your thermometer is reading 200, that'* normal for our cars and is not considered over heating.

i have a sinister chip that kicks the fans in sooner, but yes the car runs at 195 f after 15 min of driving below 40 mph , or sitting in drive thru in the morn for 5min ..but seems allot slower after it has warmed up to 190 ish ?? i have 3yr old water pump , i don't use any coolant, intake gasket need to be changed,, i can beat 2008 300c hemi'* ,gtp (stock) ,soltice turbo, TL'*,2009tiburonV65spd...but after one race i have to sit for 20 min, or gets hot and slow ???
