Man..... I'm missing boost.... :(

How come you didn't notice that lack of boost when you test drove it Jimbo?

I was more focused on the road then that...it was a 10 min test drive to make sure the car was operable for ya

FYI

7 PSI is 48kPa

10 PSI = 70kPa

To the guy who asked how far the boost gauge now goes it depends on wheel spin it will bounce off the full mark two or three times from a dead stop when you hold it to the floor and the tires are really spining up. I would say the average is 3/4 like one of the guys said. It seemed to only give half boost the first couple of times I nailed it after the repair then it was like the computer woke up or something.

Didn't want to bring this old topic up, but it could be the same problem as mine.

I do not see this on mine Pontiac Bonneville 1996 SE Engine VIN=K. Not in the same place at least. Is this 'T' something that came on later models or SSEis?

Anyway, I have P0107 and P0108 error codes. All the wires seem secure and in place. I did clean up the sensor. When I take out the sensor there are no changes in the operation of the engine. There are 5 volts coming to the sensor. I tried resetting, but the codes came back up.

I have GM# for this sensor = 16187556 (some places list it as AS49, some as AS59). I have found on ebay GM#9359409 (standard #AS155), and seller lists my car under the models it will fit. Do you guys think that will work (if I were to replace the sensor)? When I did search on AC Delco'* site with my VIN #, I did 213-796 which is AS155.

You don't have a supercharger, and therefore that fitting. I'd suggest starting a new topic though in 1992-1999 so you can get better attention. Forced Induction is really only supercharger/turbo/NOS related, whereas 1992-1999 will get more exposure for you.
