That'* interesting.....both the 1996 and 1997 printouts I have show that pin to carry +5 volts :?

1998 was the redesign of the PCM, correct? Wonder what it says??

EDIT - Same thing you said Ted....looks like ALOT changed between 1997 and 1998.

I looked at Rock Auto &:
1999 had it'* own computer
1998 had two different computers (neither the same as 1999)
1997 also had two different computers (neither the same as 1999 or either of 1998 computers)

Looks like 1997 used OEM #16217058 or OEM #16227797

If it helps, this is for the 2000 PCM. Probably the same that TT has.

BTW, the 2000+* only have one MAP.

The wiring is completely different for the 1996/1997 PCMs...meaning I am stuck with the 1996/1997 PCMs unless I build another harness. That really blows.

Still doesn't answer my question though. I worked an 18 hour day yesterday...today I work a normal shift, so I will be able to do some more troubleshooting tonight. If I still get 12ish volts at that pin, with no wire going to it...then I will know it'* the PCM. But again, why would it have it??
