Default Wipers running even with fuse out

I have a 03 Savanna Van and the wipers are running when switch is on even when fuse and relay is out. The speeds work but will not park. I removed the battery cables and let it sit overnight after grounding the cables together and it worked the next day and when i needed them again they will not stop running. I am thinking maybe the bcm any ideas?

It'* likely not the BCM. Which Savanna do you have? Best to put all the info in your profile and your posts.
Pick your vehicle and navigate to the wipers.

I think i found the problem i decided to check the wiper motor and found cracking and insulation off wires at the plug connection I ordered a new pigtail hopefully that will correct the problem. Thank You for your reply.

If the wires are not touching each other, that'* probably not the problem. It could be that the wiring is overheating because the motor is old and it has been running on a dry windshield more than it would prefer.

Please let us know if the new pigtail fixes it.
