WINDSHIELD WIPER CRAZINESS

Most of the rest of the control is handled within the wiper motor. It appears as if the only time that the dash integration module comes into play is to turn on the headlights when the wipers are activated. Do the headlights come on when you experience the problem?

Well after replacing the wiper switch and having that not fix the problem, I just replaced the wiper motor and this finally fixed the problem. When I got the old wiper motor off of the assembly I noticed there was a lot of rusty water in the electrical plug which makes me believe it shorted out. Still seems weird that the motor went in such a gradual decline and not just a blowout. Seemed like some sort of defect because it doesn't makes sense how water got to it but I taped it up really well with electrical tape and it should be good. Thanks to everyone one here, especially Spl170s
