Where do i splice into the parking lights for angel eyes?

Default Where do i splice into the parking lights for angel eyes?

im working on installing angel eyes, and i have the center light working, but i need to know where to splice into the parking lights, inorder to have the angel eyes come on with the parking and head lights.

Since the angel eyes are low-draw LEDs, I think it would be okay to just tap into the parking-light wire somewhere just behind the headlamp unit. Just be sure that

1) you're tapping into the parking-light circuit, not the turn-signal circuit (I forget the color coding at this moment, but if one wire is brown, tap that one), and

2) you securely solder and tape or heat-shrink your connection to keep it weatherproof
