Default Turn signals?

Okay I think I might have a problem. I am wanting to buy clear corners for my car, and then began wondering what the corners are for because my turn signal has always flashed from the inside bulbs (closest to the grill), and not the outside corners that I want to make clear. Then I thought, these are probably both suppose to be flashing when the turn signal is active (duh?). Is this assumption correct? If it is, I either have dead bulbs on both corners, or some electrical problem, because they aren't lighting up.

Yes, both are supposed to blink when you hit the signals. Getting in there and checking the bulbs will be good practice for when you finally get your clear corners...

Check for corrosion at the bulb bases, even just a light whitish coating on the lead contact part can cause a bad connection. Of course they could be burned out if still original.
