I think the Dealers probably requested the oil change interval be removed.....too many customers changing their own oil, not remembering how to reset the reminder, and calling the dealer for help

LOL..must only apply to Bonnies then, my slow Olds has the idiot box and dings like crazy mother when my oil needs to be changed.

Then when its time, this hand pops out of my steering wheel and slaps me...

Most SE'* didn't have this function activated even though it was present in the cluster.

Most SE'* didn't have this function activated even though it was present in the cluster.
Is there any way to activate it?
Not sure if you "Flash" the ECU or not......I think you might have to actually replace the EPROM chip & that might do it. Never tried it myself, as that particular function never interested me anyways.
