Has anyone ever tried these out? I wonder if they would even fit into our light casing.

I tend to agree, but I think the idea is really cool. Though, I think a rounded taillamp design is really the only application it would look nice on. But for a total of $200.00 bucks I'm sure not goona find out anytime soon.
