Should the dash display show a burned out brake light?

Default Should the dash display show a burned out brake light?

My 2002 has a burned out brake light on the passenger side (bulb on the right inside the light assembly). I have no notification on my dash about it. My 95 tells me if I have a light out so I wonder why the 02 isn't.

mine does not either, I think they just might have stopped doing so after 99? [/b]
