Default Lo'* staying on when I turn on brites

My lo lights are staying on when I turn on my brights. This didn't happen before I put in the aftermarket xenon headlights. Any suggestions? or does anyone else have this same problem. It'* actually only a problem because I've been trying to re-position my headlights, and I'm havin a hard time because both the brights and lo'* are on.

that'* supposed to happen, all 00+ bonnies do that when used, I don't unless you disabled your DRL system that is they way the lamps operate.

If you do cover the lens, do it only for a short time. This is part of a TSB regarding the headlamp assembly.

Quote:
Also, crazing or deformations of the lens may occur if a shop mat or fender cover is draped over the fender and covers a portion or all of the headlamp assembly while the DRL or headlamps are on. This action restricts the amount of heat dissipated by the headlamps.

Once a heat buildup is generated by the headlamp, a degradation of the headlamp lens begins. This degradation of the lens can be unnoticeable at first and eventually manifest as spider cracks. In more extreme cases, it will begin to melt the lens of the headlamp.

Usually you aim the headlights with only the low beams turned on, the high beams are turned off.
