Default Remote Accessory Module

In between my own run-ins with the law I have tried to fix my interior light problem. I Pulled the RAC module even the relay for the courtesy lights and all of the lights still stay on. This is a very annoying problem(no power mirrors) that I have not been able to solve. Will othe Rac modules(with matching fobs) from any newer year fit?I posted at an earlier date and have ram out of ideas really anybody else out there who had this problem?

Your power mirrors aren't controlled by the RAC. They have power at all times. Your courtesy lights aren't controlled by it either.

Having done some troubleshooting on a 96 where the interior lights refused to turn off. The body control module was the fault, not the remote function actuator. However the test led us through the RFA first.

You need the procedure to test from an FSM to properly figure this one out w/o wasting your time.

As you know the courtesy lights are on the same fuse as the power mirrors i have to pull the fuse to get the lights to turn off. Do I have a body control module I did not think so(according to the FSM)

Hi , did you ever resolve this? I am having the same issue on my 95 Riviera!

The doors were shutting them off so I figured it wasn't the door switches.
I changed out the Remote accessory control module, but same issue
I can't find any reference to a BCM in the service manual
I'm at a loss now what to do??
Thank you
