Default rear turn signal blubs...

hey guys, when i cleared my turn signals in back, i put the same bulbs that i have up front. they are 3057 "chrome" look bulbs. they are darker chrome than the reflector, but you dont really notice until your up close(espessially up front, cuz there recessed). the problem is that they are a bit darker amber. which is not that big of a deal up front, because they use the brighter element for turn signaling. in the back, however, it just uses the dim one. i dont even know why they put a dual element bulb in there. during the day, i dont think my turn signals are that noticeable. could there be a way I can change or rewire the socket to use the brighter element? or any other suggestions?

well since your asking about switching out a socket, I'll move this to Electrical so you get better exposure to the right crowd

if your already ganna have to buy sockets get the one for the bulb and wire it to the bright side. stockers might not have it but a new one would.
