The subject pretty much says it all, oh ya my dome light won't come on either, it might have to do with the fact that Bonnie got sick the other day and stranded me in BFE with my wife, two kids, and niece, but hey atleast it was onle 98 freaking degrees out. I cannot confim nor deny the fact that I might have gotten a little angry at Bonnie and maybe have slammed the door a little too hard once or twice.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, as it is now, when I get out I also have to open the right rear door so my stupid radio will go off. I know it'* on a timer, but there'* just something about walking away from you car with the radio still going.
Thanks to all

it looks like the drivers side door switch has a problem. the radio works on a Retained accessory power....so if a door is opened the RAP will shut off the radio, and if the radio shuts off when you open the rear door...then i would suspect a fauliy drivers door switch
but dont worry the RAP will shut off within 10 minuets of the car being turned off

In this thread I found the switch you are having a problem with laying in my door. Look at 95NA'* picture of it on the actual handle and you will have a better understanding. I bet either it broke or the metal retainer popped off allowing it to always think the handle is down. The way it works is your car reads the signal from this switch and tells the retained power circuit to shut off.
Your fix to the problem is to pull the door panel off the door you slammed and check this switch. Like mine I would believe yours in no longer in place. A tip: when you do this...have the window up all the way.
Enjoy!

You probably didn't have a chance to go in there yet. There is also a possible trigger on the actual latch. But pretty much when you get into the door look at the left side or rear of the door and you'll see a couple pairs of wires. It'* one of those items.
