Default Power Window Issues

My passenger side power window doesn't want to go down anymore. I checked the connections under the switch on the passenger and driver side door and they look fine.

When I press the switch to make it go down, the lights dim for a split second as if there was an electrical load, but the window doesn't move.

Could it be the switch is faulty? Window regulator? If I need to dig into the door, how do you get the panel off without breaking it?

Thanks.

Maybe the motor is pooched. The driver side window in my regal just stopped working i checked it and the motor wasnt working. Or you could have a jam in the track system. The door panel comes off by taking off a couple screws around the door handle and by popping the clips in behind the panel. Someone else will have more info on that.

Give this fix by Bob D a try.

Either that..or it'* time to import a motor from the sound of it.

Turned out to be the window motor. Got one from a sad looking '92 SSEi and all is good. I got the door panel back on, but I'm having a hell of a time getting it back on right. The staples at the top have to be the most retarded thing ever, I can't quite get the panel to go back on to them.

Anyone have any suggestions?
