Default Plethora of issues, detailed observations

'99 / not supercharged / 144k miles / recently rebult transmission

Electrical issues
Door Locks: Driver'* side works, 3 other doors do not lock when button is pressed. BCM makes dinging sound when button is pressed - just not mechanically firing. Which relay may be suspect?

Trunk Release: Keyless entry button works! unfortunately the drivers side button does not. Safety switch in trunk not on. Where to look next?

Instrument Panel lighting: The light behind the spedometer does not ullimate at night as it should. Suspect Dimmer swicth? Bulb is fine... any other suggestions?

Trouble codes: Check Engine light and ABS light
ABS: Had rotors cut and new brake pads put on, light has been on since.. perhaps miswired/grounding issue? Any easy way to troubleshoot? ABS light on and ABS certainly disabled.

Check engine light: P0103 and P0303 Diagnostic Trouble Codes - MAF might need a cleaning after reading other posts. Cost for a new one? easy to replace?
P0303- misfiring of #3 Cylinder- definitely caused by broken wire pack leading to spark plug.. since replaced, error still exists. How do you reset this Diagnostic Trouble Code?

Non Electrical issue:
My right rear floor getting flooded after heavy rains/ tried siliconing rusted spots on roof and along side where meets window... i think it has helped. known issue?

Hi there fellow NE'r.

You've certainly come to the right place.
The door locks.. may be a simple relay.
Trunk release is easy..pop the trunk and right by the latch at the bumper..press the lock out switch the other way. 99% of the time..that'* the problem.
instrument panel... it'* probably the next level down bulbs..
ABS codes.. it'* time for scanning, probably a bad hub aka wheel speed sensor.

We tend to meet up in the area pretty frequently.. give a shout if you are up for some meeting/working on the cars.

Thanks for the prompt replies...

It does NOT have a sunroof.

In regards to the trunk release, I am aware of the lockout feature and know its not that- but thanks for the suggestion- sometimes the obvious gets overlooked!!

"instrument panel... it'* probably the next level down bulbs.. " --- Do you mean there is another larger bulb deeper into the dash that I might be missing?

DTCs- When I went to get registered they gave me a report of the codes... is scanning a deeper diagnostic process to help isolate an issue within a known error code?

How easy is it to get at the Mass Airflow Sensor for cleaning?

Resetting Codes- since I believe the cylinder misfire issue has been rectified- Do I need to manually reset this code using software- or can i short a couple pins somewhere at the connector (i doubt its that easy)
