After 2 years of owning this 92 Bonne, today the Security light is flashing, and the car won't start.

Problem is, the lock on the drivers door has been broken out, as someone tried to get in.

I thought there was a way to reset by putting in nuetral, open door , close door, or similiar steps.

I did try alcohol on key.
Anyone have any suggestions?

Try locking and unlocking the car with the key fob a few times...just cycling the locks around. That turns off a lot of vehicles Passive anti-theft systems. I think it worked on my VATS system once?

Try your spare key. If you dont have one go to gm and have one cut. I had the same problem. It was the worn chip on the key.
