parking light wire for angel eyes 2000+
hey
im gonna go out sunday and buy the angel eyes for the 2001 SE
for the led ring instead of installing a seperate switch i wanna connect it to the parking lamps....where to i slice into for the "parking light" wire. I have been told its purple wire? would this be located in that connecter that attaches the headlamp lights to the wiring harness ... i.e if i unplug this particualar harness, the headlamp is detached from the car. is this the wire??
OH, if the bulb in the AE dies, can i just go to a pepboys and replace with the Silvistar H3 bulb? :?:
pictures are helpful for me, its just how i learn.
thanks

I just did mine yesterday. Drivers side was a purple wire, the one on the passenger side was a brown wire with a white stripe. I'm loving mine. I actually rigged up some harnesses using the sockets from my old bulbs so i didn't have to cut into the factory wiring. I took pictures of the whole process but im heading out the door right now and i will post it later.
Answering your question from your other post, you don't have to find the negative wire for the parking lights. I cut the bullet connector off the negative for the LED halo then wired the negative to the negative for the fog. Works fine.
