Actually, no. Everything else seems to be working fine, but the HUD hasn't been functioning/ seemed to even have power since I got the car this summer.

what if i can look down and see the HUD but i cant see it on the windshield? it reads o MPH, but i cant adjust it so i can see it.

Either your adjuster is disconnected, or burnt out. On your year, it'* an electric motor. It doesn't move fast. Have you patiently tried to adjust it both ways? Earlier years were mechanical adjusters.

well I've realized that it will actually show up very faintly, but if I wasn't trying VERY hard to see it, I would never know it was there..

Rachael, can you go outside the car with the ignition on, and look down through the windshield (lean over it) and look directly in it? Does it seem brighter? Or not?

Rachel...are you trying to see it when the headlights are coming on in the day because you are not quite in the light?

This is an issue...where it'* fairly light outside..but the headlights come on and dim the hud.

Best way to see it is to look down through the WS from the outside in the dark with the ignition on. Just like fenwayruler did.
