I had the funniest race/kill today. My husband and I were returning home from church and we pulled up at a red light next to a newish Dodge Intrepid with a 60 or so year old lady and a kid in it. Much to our surprise she is inching up a few inches repeatedly while the light is red. We decided that when it went green we were gonna give her a run for her money. :P

So the light turned green and she takes off like a bat outta Hell! We punched it and passed her no sweat, and then we slowed down since we were in a busy commercial area. As we slow, she'* still coming up hard (you could hear her engine over our own and our stereo) and as she passes...get this...she gives us a thumbs up!

We pulled up at another light next to her and we all roll down our windows and I say "nice" with a thumbs up. She replies with a great sly smile, "Bet you didn't expect an old lady to do that!". Lol...I was laughing my butt off and she said with a grin, "I was raised with 6 brothers...but I'd better be good because I have my grandson in the car."

That one goes down in my book as my favorite kill ever.

Ya..lol, my nonna drives a 2003 BMW 325i, good thing shes knows all the cops in St. Catharines (her town), my uncles and aunts went to school with all the cops in St.Catharines. So she gets off scott free....

The cops have a hard time giving a speeding ticket to the woman who made them warm lunches almost everyday back in school....

I wish I could take credit for it...I wasn't actually driving (but I probably made it sound like I was). Believe it or not I'm actually a really timid driver! I have to get over that.
