Cooling fan upgrades?
I was wondering, for my 95, has anyone ever used other cooling fans or upgraded the stock ones? I mean we're now 18 years in the future, I'm betting something better is out there?

No one has really sat down and did any research yet. And probably won't, until you came along and asked. I don't know what the stock fans are rated at CFM wise. But I suppose anything here JEGS Dual Electric Cooling Fans - JEGS would be better than stock.

I am not aware of anyone having upgraded their fans and posting it on the forum, but I am not sure you would gain anything. Your car is tuned to run at a steady state temperature, and the cooling system is designed to keep your engine at that temperature. Running more efficient fans won't make your engine run cooler ... the thermostat determines the temperature.

To be honest, I have never wished my 20 year old fans moved more air. Keep in mind, they used the exact same setup for the L67, which generated even more heat. Even the guys packing big guns still use stock fans.
I am going to have to play the "If it'* not broke, don't fix it" card on this one. Sorry.

I may be building the car with a Series III, 4T65-HD (built) and Remote turbo, someday, possibly....I like the JEGS 52118 but I'd have to ask what'* the amperage on the current fans relay? I'd want to just wire in and replace using the existing connections, if possible.
