Default Need someone with a 95 FSM!

I don't have mine yet. Don and I are trying to do the driving light override like I did on the Zilla last year. Keep the driving lights on when the brights are on. Both of us have 95'* without the lamp monitor, which SHOULD mean we don't have the ALCM (Adaptive Lamp Control Module).

Can someone scan the schematic from the 95 FSM for this part of the circuit? Send it to me at william dot wren at gmail dot com.

I'd like to do this before my trip to CA this weekend. (gotta go there this weekend AND next).

I'm here and on time.

Fog lamps are the same w/or w/o ALM. When the high beams are on , the coil of the fog lamp disable relay is entergized and it'* contact close interrupting the ground path of the fog lamps relay.

Fog lamp disable relay is in the relay center (passenger side above kick panel) position C

Wires are

85 Lt Grn (power from high beam switch to disable)
30 Dk Grn/Wht ground to fog lamp relay (becomes disabled)
86 Blk (constant ground)
87 Blk (constant ground)

Looks like you can accomplish your mission by either providind ground to 30 or cutting power coming in on 85. The relay is enabled by default and therefore if you have a bad relay your fogs would stay on all the time.

That won't help me. That'* the same as the 93 with the ALCM. That relay is inaccessible by any means other than ripping out the entire dash, which I'm not doing until fall.

Need to know where it gets the signal FROM. Can you scan and email me the circuit? With the lamp monitor option on the SSEi, the ALCM controls that relay. Without the ALCM, something else on the 95 does. That'* the root of the problem.

Scanning now...but you are still going to find the same thing.

HP all in one does not like you Bill. No scan sorry.

Crap. Take a digital pic of it. That harness runs along the top edge of the dash towards the column from the impossible relay. I need to find the wire I need in a better spot. I just upgraded my lights tonight, and need to do the bypass.

Need the component location for the Lamp Control Module. It should show a graphical representation of it in a 95 FSM. And the circuit that shows the foglamp relay control. It pulls ground away from the circuit when the high beams are selected.

In my 93 manual, the LCM is shown in section 8A if that helps, and the circuit is in section 8A as well. Component locations are near the end of that section. They are illustrations.
