hi i have a 1988 bonnevile sse and my rpm gauge starts out at about 4000 rpm'* and then it dies and dont move at all then it goes all the way up as it could go and gets stuck untill i bang on the dash to loosen it.. my car runs and drives execellent so its not a rough idle. and some times it will work perfect. i dont understand. has anyone had this problem before. its not bothering the performane of the car at all but its very annoying to see all the time....
