my interior lights won't come on
I haven't had this car long, but just the other day, while I had a door open, the interior lights went out. I can't turn them on manually and they don't come on when the doors open. I checked the fuse, I'm pretty sure I grabbed the right fuse, and it was fine. Havn't had any time to really look at it, but wanted to see if anyon knew or had any ideas of what'* goin on.

If it'* all the interior lights, I would double check that you checked the right fuse. My fuse diagram seems to be way off as to which one is hooked to what

Hi...
Another member here.
First thing we need to know is what year and model car you have. Then please go into Profile and put it into your signature. That way you'll never need to tell us.
Turning the bezel on the headlight switch doesn't turn them on, closing and reopening the door doesn't either..hmmmm
Check the driver and passenger fronf floors for any signs of moisture.
Once we know the year of your car we can pinpoint the fuse in case it'* simply a bad one.
After that i'd start to suspect the body control or PALL module (both are the same module..just different names.)

For the model, what does it say on the side of the car after "Bonneville"? SE, SLE, SSEi?
Also, did you check your carpet for dampness? Especially up front by the driver'* and passenger'* seats. Do you know if you carpet has ever been real damp or wet? We ask for a real reason. There is a ground bar there that can get corroded.
Anyway, let us know what model (trim level) you have and we'll try to get you fixed up.

Ya, I don't know why but my bonny doesn't say the model number anywhere. It doesn't say anything on the side or the back trunk.Checked sticker on door. It just says Pontiac bonneville on the trunk. Maybe somebody knows by the options. I have cloth seats, power windows, power locks, power drivers side mirror and power drivers side seat. Cruise control, fog lamps. I checked behind the fuse panel and neither the yellow or brown( which is fuse 4a the interior lamps) are hot(have voltage) when I open the door or turn them on manually. I have a wire tapped of the brown that goes to my GM car alarm. I was trying to trace them where they came out of the firewall, but it'* a pain. I don't have a hayne'* manual yet, but maybe somebody might be able to help me now. Thanks folks.
