Default Interior lights randomly come on..

I sure hope i'm not running into electrical bugs with this car. Its been awesome so far, and the recent FE2 swap made it much better and more capable.
New new problem, and I have a couple besides the lights. The interior lights come on like every 5-10 minutes, and stay on for like 5-10 seconds. I suspect its doing this all night. The lights arounds the door keyholes come on too, its like the car is expecting its owner or something, lol. Also, he key fob stopped working, its dead, does nothing. batteries are fresh, but it still does not work. I don't use it anymore.

Also my light monitor. The warning lamp for the taillights blinks every second. I've checked all the lights again and again. It does have trailer wiring, though it looks like it'* been done properly butI don't see how that would affect the lamp monitor. I might not bother trying fix it and just get rid of it, useless thing, lol.

Other than that, car'* been great. Suspension rides like a dream.
Any help appreciated. Thanks guys.

Not sure if its related but my power lock buttons don't work at all. The locks activate when the car is in gear, and unlock in park, but when i hit the buttons, on either side, they don't work.

Be something to look into for sure. I bet all this stuff, the locks, buttons, lights go through the body module which seems to be that little computer under my driver'* seat?

It seems like the keyless remote alarm system is going bad - Usually when you use your keyless remote it turns on and off your interior lights while unlocking or locking your doors. I would have that check out first on a starting point.

Tim - I can send you a couple wiring diagrams if you PM with a email address. Warning - the lighting system is complicated. The front doors have switches & all four door latches have switches. I'd check those 6 switches 1st. You should be able to check these switches at the remote accessory control module.
