Default Monitoring PCM Data

I took my Bonerville out of storage, installed a new 200a alt. and a "yellow top" battery. On initial startup, I had a stalling issue after dipping to 9.9v (till PCM shutdown, which is supposed to happen around 9v) in about 20 seconds of running. After playing with some wires on the bulkhead connector (pass side -C260 connector) I corrected the problem, shot to 13.6v constant and "traction control" light came back on. The culprit is a black wire that "looks" like it feeds the injectors and Ign Module, and obviously grounds the PCM "somewhere". It comes out of designation E7 on the C260 connector, but my Bonnevile service manual shows that being "un-used". Any info would be appreciated, before I have to start disassembling. I have a set of tones I can trace it with, just would be nice to have a general idea of what circuit it is (yes, I'm lazy....it was 97 degrees yesterday) Thanks in advance

Not sure how to help you... I'll check the 95 manual when I hit home.

But on the car and the voltage...many have had issues and found that cleaning all grounds to rectify the problems. Sounds like you've got it pretty well fixed. Why would you keep digging further?

Basically I just manipulated the wire enough to isolate it, and didnt disturb it anymore. I havent fixed it yet, that'* why I'm seeking info on what circuits are involved. I believe it could be a soldered splice joint that has frayed (needs re-soldered) or could possibly be a broken wire somewhere between point A and point B. Nevertheless, I want to fix it the correct way. At one point last year, (check my posts) I took out the dash/IP cleaned all the connectors and put die-electric grease on everything. I've put alot of work in this one, I want to get my money'* worth out of it (plus, it'* a beautiful car.)
