In the mean time...
Decided to take a break from the Harmonic Balancer from hell job and change out my craked-out angel eye fog lamp.
Both the LED ring and the bulb still worked remarkably, for over 2 years!
And I have 1 more as a back up in case another one cracks or breaks

Looks much better! I have one where the lens is missing entirely. Got some new ones for Christmas...waiting for some warmer weather to put them in. I'm going to try some plastic film over the lens this time to see how that works to protect them.
