Default I don't mean to sound stupid...but...

I know the subject of t-stats has been sorely beaten to death. I want to put a 180 in my car. Do I just walk into any parts store and ask for a 180 for a 92 Bonnie? Is there a specific part # from stant or another manufacturer? Do all GM 3800 v-6'* use the same type of tstat? Also, will it come with the gasket I'll need or do I need to get that from a GM dealer. I don't want to remove my old t-stat without having everything I need to complete the job. Thanks guys.

With Thanks to DeathRat, here'* a link to everything you wanted to know about Thermostats(and Gaskets) and weren't afraid to ask.

These are OE Part #'*. So if you don't go to your local dealer, I sure your Auto Parts store will be able to x-reference them for you.
