Does a 1993 SSEI bonneville have a temp. air box sensor in the stock air box.

Yep, on the back side below the intake tube. What'* that have to do with the MAF?

everything... the computer calculates airflow by taking readings from the MAF and IAT sensors... you need both to get a good reading on airflow...

Maybe he didn't realize the square looking sensor on the throttle body was the MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor and the airbox temp sensor was called an IAT (Intake Air Temp) sensor.
