Question Lots of things just quit all of a sudden

I read through here where people had some similar stuff but not exact so I figured I would throw this out therer.

I have a 2002 Bonneville SLE. Over the last few months I noticed that I couldn't use the driver door window controls for any of the windows if the door was open. As soon as I closed the door they would work.

Now all of a sudden ALL of my windows will not work from any door switch, power locks and mirrors won't work either. Key fob will open the truck and when I lock/unlock it will control the gas door lock but not the car doors. The DIC won't recognize when any door is open so my radio won't turn off when I open the door (but it goes off after 10 minutes by itself). Finally, the DIC says "Unknown Driver" when I start the car. I can reset that but then the next time I start the car it just comes up again.

All of this happened at the same time but I'm kinda thinking it may be a couple of problems that just happened at the same time.

Any possible answers would be greatly appreciated!

Sounds like a bad ground buss, or some corrosion in the fuse panel. Take a look around and make sure you don't have some funky electrical stuff going on.

Good question. I actually don't recall seeing any ground buss'* per se, but there are some bolts that create general grounds that probably feed most everything. I know there are some right to the block. Those can get greasy and corrode.

So what I ment to say was check your grounds period. : P
