Default Keyless entry delima 1996 Bonneville

I have a new to me 1996 Bonneville. 95k miles and I love it...but the pevious owner put some type of an after-market alarm system in it. (I believe it was made by Pursuit) I did not get any transmitters with the car. I have taken the car to a GM dealer who tried to program a factory keyless entry transmitter to the car, and was told that they couldn't do it..it wouldn't program.
I also took the car to a local car stereo/alarm company who supports the Pursuit brand and was told that they couldn't get the alarm into a program mode and assume the alarm is bad...so I can't get an after-market transmitter either

1. Can anyone help me with this? Is there somewhere I can get a good wiring diagram for the car. 2. Is there anyone with keyless/alarm expertise that can give me input on what might be altered to put in a Pursuit alarm. It is a 1995 production date alarm...but the model number tag is gone from the unit.

The FSM post you have up should get you all the wiring diagrams plus many you'll never need.
