Default keyless entry

i was just going through my rpo tag (wrote down each one to see what my car had) and i found some cool things on there that i didnt know about and still dont know (realy what they are) but anyways i guess the car came with remote entry. cool deal works for me. but my question is do i have to get one for a 93 or can i get one for a newer car and program it??? cause the 1998+ on ebay are cheaper then the 92-97. thanks all

You need an FOB that will match to your car. There was a sticky here...I think maybe it hit techinfo.

Search on FOB and match the numbers up for your year.

you have to have AU0 which is the code for the Keyless, and with an SLE you should have it.....

you will need a remote that has the FCC ID ABO0303T, i think also ABO0302T might work

but both of my remotes say 303T

Either of those that Pat listed will work. I've recently proven they're interchangeable, at least from 92-95.
