Default Inside lights

I just noticed today when I park teh car, turn it off, and get out, the inside lights stay on. I checked teh switch, it'* in the full prightness setting, but not clicked to have the lights on. I turn the *** to on, then back off again and the lights go off. But when I open the door and get out, the lights stay on. Any idea why this is happinging? I changed nothing that I know of. Right now it'* parked in the garage with the window open so I can turn the lights off. Thanks to anyone that can help.

They stay on forever? Or just for the few minutes they are supposed to?

What you described sounds normal, Mine stay on for a few seconds after I shut the door. I never really timed it, but they will shut off as soon as the car is locked.

Oh in that case, no not normal. I missed the hour time frame in your first post.

Aren't they supposed to shut off after 5 or 10 minutes even if the switch was left on?
