Default hud problem

I have a 1998 ssei and hud doesn't work. It could be fuse, but I can't find location in owners manual.

if you look really high or low can you see it....or the unit is shut off

the fuse should be above the driverside foot well

sorry for the confusion. I know where the fuse box is I just don't know the particular fuse that is for the hud ie 1-9 a-e. I don't see that fuse labled in the owners manual or the fuse box diagrahm.

The HUD can be adjusted so far it'* not visible. So your adjustment may be what'* bad. Wait until dark, turn on the car, and look down through the windshield and verify the display itself is not illuminated.

Someone with a 98 (maybe 96-99) FSM may have to verify the fuse location, but I believe it'* above the passenger footwell under the glovebox on your car (I think my 95 is similar).

thanks for your help, but it was working and now it is not and it isn't the adjustment. It could be a short or something else. I can't find anything else in my car that is not working properly. I thought I would start first with the fuse being the problem with the hud. In my owners manual it says there is a fuse, but I can't find one that is labled for the hud in the owners manaul or on the fuse box either.
