Well, if you replaced the existing green only digital readout style projector with one that was full color and MUCH MUCH higher resolution.

I'm gonna guess no. Not without a new lens and such. I doubt it is set up for images.

But then again, I've never seen one in action. I'm just a lowly, oppressed SE owner...

I doubt it would be a practical idea, but then again, anything is possible. The mirors with the screens in them would be a better idea if ur looking for somehting like that

Don't you think there are enough potential driving hazards asides from the fact that it is now winter? I'm sure people need to be distracted by watching a movie on their windshield while they should be paying all their attention to the kids stepping onto the icey slippery roads...

I would say no, simply because the picture would be too faded to see well. Yes, technically You could do it, but you would either have a blind spot right in front of you, or the quality would not be worth watching.

You would have to take the guts of the HUD projector out and replace them with something that could display an image. Then the maximum size of the display would be the outline that you see in your windshield.

Install rocket launchers behind the grill and use the HUD as an aiming reticle! The go hunting morons....
