left and right dont really describe the TS we need to talk in terms of top and bottom. If you have the TS **** all the way to the bottom then the TS is off period. Any movement upwards changes the time that the lights will stay on AFTER the car is shut off

the dome center one in the car is a blank hole if you have the CC with *****. If you have ACC then it is a part of that system

The ambient light sensor should be under the dome in center of dash board.

no, the dome in the center is a solar intensity sensor for the electronic climate control.
TS sensor is on the left side of the dash.

Default sensor

OK I think I got it. The left flat sensor is for the TS. But with the TS lever off and up should my auto headlights be coming on?
Maybe this sensor is faulty and not turning the lights on at the right lighting?
Everything else seems to work.
If it were unplugged would not the lights work at all?
