Default Hazard button broke, help?

It was such a good day.

New oxygen sensor, no more Service Engine Soon light. Fixed the cupholder, life is good.

Tested the hazard button (first time) and on they go! Pull on button to turn them off and.....nothing. They're stuck on. Which kills the turn signals and makes the Olds not so legal to drive. Pulling fuse #13 kills my brake lights too, so that is a no go.

Help? The Olds is currently sitting dejectedly with a disconnected battery and I want to go drive it more.

My guess is it'* the flasher relay, hasn't been used in a while and its stuck on.
It could be the switch itself, but try replacing the relay first.

Did that first. Outer part of the button that says Hazard slides in, out, and spins but doesn't engage anything. Inner part is still stuck in.

Finally fixed. Took button apart. Threaded screw back in. Firmly pushed on the screw in a few various directions until it went "click" the the flashers stopped. Dropped pieces of button in ashtray.

On to the radiator! Or the rear defroster. Or maybe the rear brakes. Or...
