I've had this problem since I got my Bonne, but never really tried fixing it. I think it'* most likely just a touching wire or something, but I dunno.

The problem: I can't roll up the passenger window from the driver'* side. I can roll it down from the driver'* side, but not up. It works fine from the passenger'* side, both ways.

Any advice?

There could be a few possibilities here. The driver door control module could be at fault with regard to the passenger door window "raise" command. The passenger door window rocker switch on the driver door is faulted in "raise". Or the passenger door control module is not accepting the command to "raise" the window from the driver door control module. The driver door control module communicates with the other 3 doors control modules via serial comms buses. Those are just my thoughts initially. A diagnostic with a scan tool would help.

They really have all that crap in 95?

That technology has been around for a while in this application. Processors control just about all functions now. Years ago motor current to raise/lower power windows was routed through the control switches on the doors. The control switches now are just input devices like a computer keyboard.

95 FSM says there is no diagnostic or window control module computer. There are switches and motors. Most likely thing is since your regular switch on the door works your d/* switch is probably bad.

Yeah...it'* old school til about 2000. While I'm sure what Mark is saying about the technology being available it wasn't used by GM.

Mark...it was good info, wrong year. Not a problem, I was looking at an FSM and you figured GM hooked us up.

The 97 while being same body style and that stuff is sooooo different than the 95.
