Default Fog light question

Just notice that my passenger fog light is blown.. and was lookin to upgrade it.. did a search and found out 885 is higher wattage but according to the link Bill has entered in.
http://www.corvetteforum.com/techtip...D=52&TopicID=2

It says if the fog lights ground goes thru the hi-beam circuit.. it won't make a difference.. and I think ours is cause it stated that if the fog lights goes off with hi'* come on.. that means its grounded thru there and not on its own, and to make a separate ground for it. Will this throw an error on the drivers info as a blown light?

I might get the Cyber white wannabe kinds @ Canadian'* Walmart cause Tamara has them.. and one of it is blown.. and I don't know if I can locate the receipt.. so if I can't.. I will get a set of those.. put it on my car.. return the old ones (3 months old ) with my receipt and get a new ones to replace hers again. But thats IF I can't find the receipt.. too bad she didn't have this issue or I mike look into Hella'* angel eyes.
