ok, so i pulled back the carpet, and found what i think to be the ground bus connector.. it looks just like the above picture with the blue thing and the wires running into it,...so i got some electric connector cleaner, and sprayed it, and coated it in the dielectric compound... put the cover back over the bottom, and the blue thing back in....
-did i do it right, or do i need to take and individually clean each wire that runs into the bus connector?
i really need a digital camera!!

Pull each piece apart... scrap with a pick or screwdriver any big corrosion..it needs to come off. Clean with the goop you got, dielectric it... push it on and off 5-10 times each part to clean any areas you can't get to.
It'll seem like a pain..however..if you do this right..you'll do it once and it'll work good afterwards.

ok i can do that... what can i do to ensure that the connectors stay connected after i remove, and clean them? Can i just have a set of pliers to tighten them if they do not stay on right?
I must be making this WAY to complicated
how do i get the wires to unplug so that i can clean them? i was pulling but nothing happened, i tried to pry them but the same thing.. let me know... i am sure it will be simple but i am a moron , so... nuff said..
