ok, so it appears that i have some electrical issues they include: flashing ecc, both lights on the auto-level are on, my inter lights don't work, and neither do my dome lights... i have sourced some of the problems to leaking water, and i have sealed them with some epoxy... but now i need to know where i can get my cars elect. sys fixed, and at a good price....any thoughts?
(btw its a 98 ssei)

your flashing ECC is typical of a problem with your ECC the dealer must pull the codes for that system

and also the same thing with teh Ride buttons....Both lights on mean there was a problem with the system, and you will have to disable the CCR

To get the electrical fixed at a decent price, I say do it yourself.

The most common problem area from water leaks is right under the driverside carpet. You can pull it back and find the grounding buss for most of the electrical. Search on how others cleaned up the grounding issues and go with the best solution.

That'* all a mechanic is going to charge you through the roof to do anyhow.

that seems like an intense job...? to be honest, when it comes to electrical i get nervous for the possibility of doing even more damage to the system... wait... what does CCR stand for?... and why would it need to be disabled?

i have pulled the carpet back to get to it, now how do i fix, or replace the ground bus connector?

Take a look at it.. any corrosiion needs to be cleaned off...

maybe a electrical cleaner from the parts store will work...maybe you need to go further...

I found the second one to give good diagnostic info..but not anything mentioning how he cleaned them up. I'd use electronics cleaner and probably a flat screwdriver, the dielectric grease to keep it from happening again.

thats it, take off the blue part, clean it with electric cleaner, and put the dielectic compund on it, that should be no problem at all... i will give it a try and let you know what the results are...

What electrical cleaner do you use? Ive tried a couple one is said to lubricate components and is oily and I thought no way it would help but it did work,but makes me nervous to use again as it doesnt look like it will dry.
