Daytime Running Lights Dont Work on 98 SE
Hello . 1998 SE DRL '* wont turn on.All lights work the way theyre supossed to otherwise.Sensor on left upper dash looks clean,but who knows?Couldn't find a fuse anywhere for the drl'* ????? Any ideas???? Thanks!!

Could be several possibilities, check the easy first. There is a DRL resistor left side engine compt. under area of PCM (black rectangular object) which could be disconnected. Ambient light sensor & gear selector are inputs that control DRL'* also. Wait for a GH or someone with 96-99 FSM'* to chime in.

First thing to check is the resistor. It'* technically behind the PCM. If you looked at the driverside of the car from the passengerside.. you would see the PCM.. right behind it is a gray ceramic looking thing with two wires coming out of it to a single connector. This is your resistor.
If you use an ohm meter to test between the two leads you should get a value, I would think the resistor is no longer good and you will get no value.
