Default nope

only thing that stuck out of the dash was a yellow harness and I believe that is just the AirBag system. Other than that there is nothing hanging, around the gas pedal, brake, nothing.

I'm kinda scratching my head on this one. Is it possible that the rocking of the motor is pulling on some sort of wire or something to do with the voltage. Will the gauges come up if you just rv the car with it out of gear??

When the car is in Park, I cannot get the gauges to jump at all. Wiring in and around the engine comparment looks good. The accerlation thing this not all the time, if anyting the gauges wont even jump after the car heats up driving.

Had a similar problem with a '93 SSE, however they would start up whenever they felt like it. I tried cleaning up the contacts in the instrument panel, but that did not make any difference. I then resoldered several connections on the board, paying special attention to high stress points like where heavy components are soldered in, and also around where the pins between boards slip through. That solved the problem.

As Archon is mentioning, the circuit if effected by heat and cold etc... the issue is probably a cold/broken solder joint. These types of things can be very tough to find and repair.

Could also be a bad piece in the dash that is then interacting wtih other items and causing larger issues.

Default ...

Is there any other fuse I could check besides the one under my dash, by the E-Brake?

Default idle jump

well, the car has been sitting this whole time. From time to time I've been starting it and I've noticed that when the car starts the gauges float up and stay just above the dead line and now while in park I rev the engine and the needles either jump alittle up or they jerk DOWN past the dead line. I've had my carpet up and checked around he gas pedal no wires be there. Anywhere else I could look for this gas pedal jumping??
