Dash cluster issues
Okay, managed to find the thread on the radio light repair.

I'll try and dig up something on the shifter light as well.

Well I don't know if the cluster has ever been pulled before. This only seems to be happening when it is cold outside. Yesterday no problems at all with the dash. Last night (a little colder) all but temp was working fine.
I would still suggest checking to see if it'* seated properly. With expansion and contraction from temperature a misaligned or improperly seated connector may be causing you a problem.
If this is fine, my other thought is a known problem with the stepper motors in the cluster. There was a technical service bulletin issued for SOME Bonneville clusters because the stepper motors that move the needles would chatter and stick. There'* just other things happening here that didn't make this my first thought.

Just to clarify, when I asked previously about whether the gear indicator worked correctly I was referring to the one on the instrument cluster. You made mention of the shifter bulb so I just want to make sure you understood what I was looking for.
