Default Climate control lights

So, my climate controls do not lightup anymore. How do I fix it. Is it one bulb? How do you get to it (them)? None of the other lights are out. Actually the wierd thing is the gear selector lights work now but they never did before. They are dim, but they work. What gives?

Check the illumination feed from the wiring harness, if that has power, then move onto each of the individual bulbs. I think the wire color is yellow at the climate control.

Yes, remove the dash trim panel that covers the radio/climate area.. and heads over the column to a vent on the left side. Once that is out, a 7mm nut driver and 4 screws is all that stands between you and light.
