Yeah, I kinda misread that one, huh?? I was wondering why you thought I had LED's in there...

Shouldn't need an extra. Kinda hard to mess it up. The holes for the running light sockets have an indent around them the same size as a brake light socket. The hardest part is making notches for the little tabs....

I was thinking of going all out and making a full LED set up in that little space. would be super bright

I'm the kind of person who wont drill into anything origional incase I need to go back...although that didn't work well my my air box

SE. No lamp monitor to worry about. Besides, there's bulbs there, just not the originals. That's why I wanted brake light sockets for the project. Still have running lights, just added brake lights.

As soon as I get a helper, I'll try getting a vid of the new setup

Sooo you hooked the parking up the regular circuit and added the stop lamps. Nice.. You need an SSE/SSEi so you understand the pains of lamp monitoring.

It's not a simple pulling of a bulb like that John, it's the whole DIC which as we know..can be a _ _ _ _

I installed a similar setup in the wifes old 944. The difference was that the 944 housings were made for additional bulbs (euro setup). No drilling required - just plug/splice and play.
