they are tinted blue there and glow white, yellow, orange you should be fine. But if they have a blue light when lit it'* just a matter of time before you get ticketed.
I agree. I put Silverstar signal bulbs in my vibe. They look blue when unlit, but are a REALLY bright orange when flashing. They rock.

No problems with police though.

mine are more of a violet color. Is those illegal to? And it is just the inside ones<built into headlight? I took them out until i find out more. Please tell me!!!

i have the APC blue bulbs that appear blue when unlit..but when they flash they are an intensely white color.... even whiter than my silverstar headlights..its crazy. ..i've had 0 problems with po po'* also. ..all white on the front of my car , looks uniform.

In Illinois the front signals can only be white or amber; rear signals can only be amber or red.

I doubt they're going to make a U-turn and come after you for them, but it does give them an excuse to stop you and see what other naughty business you're up to.
