I have a 1992 bonneville sse 3.8l. Lately when I start my car and begin to drive the doors automatically lock and my trunk ajar signal appears. While Im driving the doors lock and the trunk ajar signal goes away. Any thought.............. thanks in advance

The trunk ajar is usually caused by a faulty switch on the trunk release mechanism. Try unplugging it on the trunk lid (security switch only) and that should disable the switch and light.

As for the lock/unlock while driving, does this happen in conjunction with the trunk light?

do you have an aftermarket system on the car....the locks dont automatically lock when driving in your year

I unhooked the auto lock wires that are located on driver /passenger side. when i did that as i was drining down the road thedoors would lock, the trunk ajar signal came on and the horn would go off all intermittingly.

Also noticed that on my display the security signal would briefly flash when my horn sounded. It might have something to do with the factory installed anti-theft system, Is there a way to disable it?
