Default Auto Down Passenger Window

Randman did this on his 93 SSEi and I've been pondering it for a long time. Waiting for a need to take off the passenger door panel actually.

The silly plastic trim on top of the panel broke when I got the windows tinted and since...I've been trying to get to it.

Good news...Alienboy was on a door panel pulling spree last Friday. I get home to find my two front and his two front panels off the cars.

The module (found in junkyard on driver door) is a 3 wire hook up. Two wires to the existing wires going to the motor and one to power. Simple is an understatement.

Now Alienboy and I have autodown passenger side windows.

Back windows seem like a mute point as by the time it started autodown, it would be down all the way.

Is this module out of a bonneville? Or will any pontiac or gm module do? Do you have a picture of what it looks like, I would like to have auto down on both my front windows if possible.

yup..

Even better if someone removed the door panel for you already.

unplug the window motor connector....pull the module off door...and then you'll find..there'* 3 wires left to cut. Cut them with extra length if you can.

Awesome, I would like to do that. Unforunately, there isn't any u pull junkyards around here.

And this may be a startling question that may be a stupid question, but the passenger side switch will activate the auto down as well the driver side switch for the passenger side right?

Easy way to find the auto-down module:

Remove driver'* door panel, look at random black box that you can't identify... there it is.
