Default ATTN: Owners of 94/95'* with the loapy idle

Nate brought this up last weekend at the MNBC meet, and it'* been eating me all week.

Has anyone with this problem swapped out the Ignition Control Module? If so did it fix the loapy idle?

I figured I'd ask here before I go and spend money on something that'* not going to work.

I know mine isn't original. IMine was replaced a couple years ago witha new one (OEM replacement I believe). No idle change after it was replaced, but I have done most of my modding after that time frame If I remeber correctly. I did have the lopey idle when I started to take her apart, but not as bad as nate has it now.

I haven't heard Nate'* lately, but my loapy idle is getting so bad the car almost stalls. There'* almost a 600rpm drop when it 'loaps'. :?

If you need to swap parts to test things... you know where you can find some...

oil pressure at idle is right around 45 when warm at idle, and under full throttle it climbs up to around 80, or slightly higher -definitely in good shape with oil pressure.

My riveria has the same problem. I read somewhere that the fuel pressure regulator has to be changed :?: Don't quote me on that . I always assumed it was the coil packs but now I wonder?
